The Featured Artist Program is a year of real, measurable career investment from a gallery that already moves serious work to serious buyers. Below: every benefit, taken straight from the Featured Artist Agreement.
Featured spotlight across our channels.
Curated write-ups, interviews, and up to 10 professional images of selected works — distributed across the gallery's website and social platforms throughout the year. Inclusion in targeted promotional campaigns, with potential exposure through regional and national art publications, media outlets, and digital platforms.
Priority wall placement.
Priority placement in KAG exhibitions to maximize visibility and collector engagement. The wall positions collectors stop at first.
65/35 commission split.
The Artist receives 65% of the sale price, with KAG retaining 35% commission on all sales. On a $5,000 sale, that's $3,250 to the artist — applied automatically, every transaction.
Four included exhibitions.
Complimentary participation in up to four (4) exhibitions hosted by KAG during your year. Each submission may include up to 3 two-dimensional works (max 3 ft × 3 ft), or up to 2 larger works (max 4 ft × 4 ft), or up to 3 three-dimensional works (max 3 cubic ft, under 20 lbs).
Annual featured-artists exhibition.
Inclusion in one (1) dedicated exhibition annually, presented exclusively with other Featured Artists. Curated and organized by KAG, with scheduling and presentation determined at the gallery's discretion.
Satellite display across Texas.
Selected works may be placed at KAG-affiliated high-end cafés and partner locations across Texas — extending exposure beyond the gallery walls and putting your work in front of audiences you wouldn't reach otherwise.
Exclusive event access.
Invitations to private events, collector previews, and networking opportunities with industry professionals, curators, and collaborators. The room behind the room.
Dedicated artist page.
Your own permanent page on kushartgallery.com — bio, portrait, full portfolio, exhibition history, press, and direct contact. Indexed by Google. Yours for the year.
Reduced standard entry fee.
After your four included exhibitions, additional shows are available at the standard entry fee of $50 — a meaningful discount versus the full submission rate. Stay in the rotation as long as you want.
Sales handled, paid within 30 days.
The artist retains ownership of all artwork until sold. KAG facilitates the sales transaction and remits payment to the artist within 30 days of receiving full payment from the buyer. No chasing, no surprises.
Post-exhibition continued display.
Artwork may remain with KAG for up to 14 days post-exhibition for continued display or storage, on request. Commission terms remain applicable for any sales during this period — extra time on the wall, extra chances to sell.

The $1,200 fee is non-refundable and activates upon signing the Featured Artist Agreement. KAG retains full curatorial discretion regarding exhibition selection, placement, and promotional strategy. Payment of the fee does not guarantee specific sales outcomes.
